Damon Lindelof, showrunner of The Leftovers, has said that “There is no Leftovers without Twin Peaks, full stop.” And it’s no surprise, since The Leftovers presents us with that thing that Peakies can’t get enough of: an unknowable mystery and a show that poses more questions than it answers. As such, The Leftovers is fertile ground for discussion and analysis, and 25YL is about to take a deep dive into the series.
