The last six episodes of Season 1 continue to investigate the Adena Watson case as well as cases around a drug dealer torturing a young woman, a gang initiation that ends up becoming a murder, a Chinese political refugee being murdered, and a police officer who is shot in the eye and ends up being blinded. Meanwhile, Bolander and Blythe go on a date and Bolander tries to bond with her son, Howard and Bayliss attempt to give up smoking, Lewis is building a Mustang Cobra, and Giardello tries to protect his squad from asbestos in the building.
