On Disclaimer VI
While Nicolas is in the hospital recovering from his drug overdose, Stephen tries to sneak in a syringe of cleaning chemicals to kill him and further ruin Catherine’s life. While there, Catherine sees him and attacks him, but those in the hospital think she is the one losing control. Robert apologizes to Stephen for what Catherine did and invites him to come visit Nicolas again, unaware that Stephen wants to kill their son.
In the past, we learn that Sasha did not leave Italy and her vacation with Jonathan because of a relative passing away, but because of a fight between the two of them. Catherine’s version of the past tells a different story than The Perfect Stranger, as she recalls Jonathan watching them and taking photos with him, but she did not interact with him at all.
At the end of the episode, after multiple attempts to talk to him, Catherine breaks into Stephen’s house to tell her version of the truth. As they sit down over tea, Stephen fills hers with sleeping pills. Catherine drinks while saying it is time for her voice to be heard.
- We’re getting Catherine’s version, but will we get the truth?
- Why did Sasha return to London?
- Stephen’s off the deep end
