On Severance Season 2 Episode 3, “Who Is Alive?”
Episode 3 is written by Wei-Ning Yu and is directed by Ben Stiller
After timing himself to see how long it takes to get the severed floor, Mark gives jobs to everyone in MDR to try and locate Ms. Casey. Mark and Helly visit the goats at Mammalians Nurturable and meet Lorne. Irving visits O&D where he reminisces about Burt with Felicia and learns about the exports hall. Instead of doing his part to search the break room, Dylan is granted an 18-minute meeting with his wife, Gretchen.
On the outside, Natalie talks to Ricken about creating a copy of The You You Are for Innies, Michick receives a very strange promotion present from the Board, Ms. Cobel confronts Helena about getting her job back, but runs away after an invite to meet with the Board, and Mark and Devon try to burn the words “Who is Alive?” into Mark’s retinas so his Innie can see them once he gets back on the severed floor (which is why he was timing his entrance).
Dr. Reghabi shows up to say that won’t work, and offers to reintegrate Mark. After she tells Mark she has seen Gemma alive, Mark quickly agrees to the procedure and the episode ends with Mark flashing back and forth between his Innie and Outie self.
