On Severance Season 2 Episode 8, “Sweet Vitriol”
Episode 8 is written by Adam Countee & K. C. Perry and is directed by Ben Stiller.
“Sweet Vitriol” follows Harmony Cobel to Salt’s Neck, a mining town where she grew up and began working for Lumon as a child in an ether factory. Lumon has abandoned the town and most of its remaining population are old and addicted to ether.
Harmony sees an old friend and colleague, Hampton, and asks him to help her sneak back into her mother’s house. Harmony’s aunt, Sissy, is still there and does not want Harmony to have anything to do with her mother’s room or that house.
After finding nothing inside, Harmony searches through the cellar outside the house, where she finds her old notebooks from the Wintertide fellowship and a Jame Eagan head that contains the idea and plans for the severance procedure, which she invented.
As she drives out of town, she answers a call from Devon and wants to hear everything about Mark’s reintegration procedure.
