On Severance Season 2 Episode 10, “Cold Harbor”

Episode 10 is written by Dan Erickson and is directed by Ben Stiller

Mark’s outie and innie communicate via video recordings and the outie tries to convince the innie to rescue Gemma after Cold Harbor is finished. Mark’s innie initially rejects the idea because he knows it would mean sacrificing himself forever.

Dylan returns to the office to learn his outie self denied his resignation request, but learns outie Dylan is hoping to make himself more like innie-Dylan.

Mark completes the Cold Harbor file with Helly there with him, and Helly convinces him he should look for and help Gemma escape. Milchick rewards Mark for his work with a marching band performance, but Helly distracts Milchick and locks him in a bathroom so Mark can escape.

On the testing floor, Gemma enters the Cold Harbor room and is asked to begin disassembling a baby crib. Jame Eagen and Dr. Mauer observe this practice eliciting no emotion from her.

Mr. Drummond tries to sacrifice one of Lorne’s goats to help shepherd the spirit of Gemma to Keir, but Mark shows up and he and Lorne force Drummond into the elevator to the testing floor, where Mark accidentally kills him.

Mark finds Gemma and convinces her to come back to the severed floor, where he helps her escape out of the exit to the stairwell. However, he remains behind and runs off with Helly just as Milchick breaks free from his imprisonment.
