On The Pitt Season 1
At the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical center emergency room, Dr. Michael Robinavitch (“Dr. Robby”) leads a group of doctors, nurses, and four new medical student residents through a long and traumatic 15-hour shift. The team deals with various personal and professional challenges, including children suffering from traumatic injuries and the hospital being the trauma center of record for a mass shooting at a nearby music festival. All of this occurs on the fourth anniversary of his physician mentor’s death, when he died at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
