On Alien: Earth S1E1, “Neverland,” & S1E2, “Mr. October”
Created by Noah Hawley, with both episodes written by Noah Hawley. S1E1 is directed by Noah Hawley, and S1E2 is directed by Dana Gonzales.
In the year 2120, The USCSS Maginot, a Weyland-Yutani research ship, has been on a mission for 65 years and is returning to Earth when it is attacked by a xenomorph, one of the many specimens it was collecting during its travels, and crashes on Earth. Morrow, a Weyland-Yutani cyborg, survives the crash and is attempting to protect the xenomorph so he can deliver it to his corporation.
Another corporation, Prodigy (run by trillionaire Boy Kavalier), controls a research island named Neverland and Prodigy City in New Siam. Through Prodigy’s work, a sick girl becomes the first human to have her consciousness transferred to a synthetic body and names herself Wendy. She becomes the mentor for several other children who undergo the procedure, all given names of Lost Boys from Peter Pan.
The Weyland-Yutani ship crashes in Prodigy City, and Kavalier is unwilling to give any of its contents back, stating it would be seen as hostile if Weyland-Yutani attempted to come and retrieve it. Kavalier and Chief Science Officer Kirsh send in Wendy and the Lost Boys to help with clean up and retrieval at the crash after Wendy learns her brother, Hermit, is one of the medics for Prodigy security on site at the crash.
Wendy tries to find Hermit, but a xenomorph on the loose chases him and the search and rescue team after the crash. After they eventually reunite, Wendy, Hermit, and Kirsh discover a room full of xenomorph eggs, but the mother arrives and drags away Hermit.
