Aboard the Maginot, which crashed in New Siam, Kavalier orders Kirsh to gather all five species samples and bring them back to their island so they can be studied. Kirsh and Dame Sylvia believe this will distract from the product they are about to launch, but Kavalier demands they take whatever it was that Yutani wants so much.
Morrow confronts Smee and Slightly about the eggs they are guarding and finds it mysterious that they are synths who think they have parents. Kirsh arrives, and Morrow escapes, but tells Yutani his mission is to find the aliens and bring them to her.
Wendy and Hermit fight the xenomorph, and Wendy is able to defeat it by decapitating it, but both are seriously injured in the fight. They return to the island along with the entire Prodigy crew, and while Wendy rests, Hermit undergoes surgery, removing his lung.
Kirsh, Tootles, and Curly dissect the facehugger from one of the eggs and place the larvae inside Hermit’s lung, which has been preserved after it was removed. During this, Wendy wakes up and sets out to find the source of the noise in her head. She ends up passing out near the xenomorph eggs.
