In this season finale, Tom Brandis and Aleah zero in on fellow agent Anthony Grasso as the leak and seek evidence to prove it. Grasso, meanwhile, struggles with his guilt and has decided to turn himself in.
Jayson and Perry are still in hiding, but Breaker lets Jayson know that Eryn was found and that Perry is the one who murdered her. Jayson murders Perry just before the Dark Hearts arrive to try to kill Jayson.
Tom and Aleah descend upon a gathering at Maeve’s house, where Jayson attempts his getaway. At the same time, Grasso makes his way to Maeve’s house after killing Vincent and Dorsey, and shoots Jayson to save Maeve.
In the aftermath, Tom does not disclose to Kath that Maeve was given a large bag of money, and Maeve takes Robbie’s kids and moves away sometime later.
Tom finally confronts his own family trauma as his adopted son, Ethan, is facing consequences for the death of Tom’s wife, and Tom must decide whether to testify, what to say, and how to move forward. Tom chooses forgiveness—giving a victim-impact statement that signals his willingness to let go of the anger he’s carried.
In the end, Sam is living with Tom and his family, but Tom eventually decides it is best if Sam goes off to live with a loving foster family who wants to take him in.
