After what she did to Zosia, Carol gets a call from Laxmi berating her for making all of the Others cry, including Laxmi’s son. Carol then falls asleep and wakes up to learn everyone has left Albuquerque because they need space from her. In a message, she learns they will help her get what she needs, but they need to be apart from her for a while.
Carol makes a video to send to the other 12 unafflicted, saying that she is learning more about the Others and that there is something they can do to reverse what has happened. She begs for their help, but has not heard from them by the end of the episode.
While trying to get rid of her garbage, Carol finds hundreds of used milk cartons. She tracks the cartons down to a local dairy and learns that the cartons actually contain some kind of liquid that’s water mixed with a substance she can’t identify.
She makes another video to send to the unafflicted, telling them what she has learned, and then continues digging into what the substance is. Carol traces its origin to a food packing plant and heads there to search the facility. While there, she finds something shocking under a tarp.
