On Pluribus S1E8, “Charm Offensive”

After waking up in a hospital in Panama, Manousos forces his way out, but not before asking for an itemized receipt for how much his hospital stay and the use of an ambulance would cost. Still sick from infection, he begins his long drive to Albuquerque.
The Others begin returning to the city and Carol and Zosia spend the day together playing cards and croquet. Zosia then shows Carol the locations where they all sleep together to preserve resources, and Carol stays the night with them.
The next day, Zosia shows Carol through a telescope where the alien signal came from and how they are using the world’s power to build a giant antenna so they can share the “gift” with other planets.
After Carol and Zosia visit a diner the Others rebuilt where Carol used to come and write in her early career, Carol panics. She tells Zosia she knows they are trying to distract her from undoing the Joining. Zosia kisses her, and after an initial hesitation, Carol and Zosia end up sleeping together. Carol resumes writing the next day.
Several days later, Zosia tells Carol she is about to have a visitor, as we see Manousos driving through Mexico, approaching the United States.
