On Hijack S2E8, “Terminal”
Written by Guy Bolton and directed by Jim Field Smith
As the hijacked train arrives at the station for the handoff with John Bailey Brown. Sam manages to evacuate all passengers, but Lang, acting on mastermind Stuart Atterton’s orders, attempts to blow up the train to kill Sam, Otto, and John Bailey-Brown. Though Lang does trigger an explosion, Sam and Otto escape. Following a pursuit through the city, Lang is cornered and killed by police.
Marsha survives being hunted in the woods, eventually being rescued after signaling a helicopter with a large fire.
The season ends with both Sam and Marsha safe, and the two of them finally connecting on the phone after the hijack.
On Paradise S2E4, “Holy Charge”
Written by Stephen Markley and directed by Ken Olin
Annie treats Xavier’s wound and helps him get back to full health after his plane crash and stabbing before Annie found him. They talk about the importance of parenthood when Xavier sees that Annie is close to having a baby.
Together, they agree that after they will travel to Atlanta to find Teri first, and then go to Colorado. Annie goes into premature labor and, despite telling Xavier not to trust people, he goes and finds help from neighbors who assist in delivering the baby. Annie writes her daughter a letter and makes Xavier promise he will give it to her before she dies from postpartum bleeding.
In Colorado, Geiger and Link’s group join a large convoy that finds the bunker, and they demand to speak to the people in charge.
Inside the bunker three years earlier, President Bradford helps a woman who is about to give birth to the first baby born inside. Redmond promises the boy he will see the real night sky someday.
