Beef Season 2 follows two couples who work at an exclusive country club. Ashley and Austin, a young engaged couple with low-paying jobs, witness a violent argument between their General Manager boss, Josh, and his wife, Lindsay, who is the interior designer.

Ashley and Austin videotape the argument and begin to use the video as a manipulation to get better jobs, health care, and leverage within the club. As the conflict escalates, both couples try to coerce the others while also dealing with changes being implemented by the new club owner, Chairwoman Park from Korea.

Chairwoman Park wants to use the club as a front for laundering money connected to a death and scandal involving her surgeon husband, Dr. Kim. Josh has his own money troubles trying to keep up with the lifestyle of the members and begins embezzling money from the club.

Ashley sneaks into Josh and Lindsay’s house and leaves their home unsecured, which allows their dog to escape. That night, he is eaten by a coyote and dies, which eventually helps lead to Josh and Lindsay’s marriage unraveling, and they decide to divorce.

Austin becomes involved with Park’s assistant, Eunice, and everyone gets tangled up in Park’s money laundering and criminal cover-ups. After collecting incriminating evidence against Park, Eunice and Austin travel to Korea to try to get her arrested.

In the finale, Josh takes the blame for all the financial crimes, making a deal that Lindsay, Ashley, and Austin will be safe while Park gets to keep her power.

Eight years later, we see that Josh is about to get out of prison, Lindsay has remarried and moved to England, and Austin and Ashley, despite their struggles before, have married and had a son together. They are now in the same destructive professional and personal positions that Josh and Lindsay were in at the beginning of the season.
