On Widow’s Bay S1E9, “Emergency Shelter”

In 1702, Sarah Warren flees Widow’s Bay with Richard’s children on a rowboat, but fog overtakes them. Frances falls overboard while the other children begin bleeding from their eyes and mouths.
In the present, the storm continues to approach Widow’s Bay. Patricia tells Tom he has to sound the siren so everyone knows to get in the shelter before it becomes too dangerous. Tom tries to gather equipment to help with the island’s electricity, and witnesses Todd, the Shaman, get blown away by the storm.
Patricia realizes from an old journal and painting that Frances survived in 1702 and started a family on the island. They all realize someone from the Warren’s bloodline must still be alive, which is why the island is still cursed.
While everyone is in the shelter, Rosemary begins looking into the genealogy of Frances Warren and discovers that Ruth Livingston, Tom’s elderly assistant, is Richard Warren’s last remaining descendant. Tom, Patricia, and Wyck debate whether they should kill her since she lived a long life and has no children or spouse, with Patricia aghast at the idea, Wyck willing to kill Ruth himself, and Tom seemingly torn about what to do.
Tom receives a phone call from Mitch saying, “It’s going!” and seems prepared to leave the building at the end of the episode, having told Wyck not to kill Ruth.
