TV Obsessive
This time, on The TV Obsessive Podcast, Caemeron and Ryan return to The Bear for a final course—S5E7 & S5E8 (the series finale). But first, in the news:

Dinner service on the chaotic day at The Bear continues, and the staff tries to figure out how to accommodate late diners, full reservations (because Richie didn’t cancel any), and a quickly dwindling food supply.
The supposed Michelin rater arrives with Chicago weatherman Tom Skilling, and they fall in love with their food, their wine, and Neil Faks’s stories about his tattoos. Marcus’s father also arrives for dinner at the restaurant. When Carmy drops the Starman’s plate of lamb, they pivot to Syd’s cola-braised short ribs, which impress the diners. After more chaos and creativity, the staff pulls off a successful service
Outside the restaurant, Uncle Jimmy and Computer agree that Ebraheim’s franchise proposal is the way to save the restaurant.
The next day, Sugar is happy with how the money looks, Richie is invited to Japan for a hospitality conference, Jimmy tells Carmy about the franchise idea, and Tina is able to go restock the food.
Carmy finally takes a call from Peter Clark at Michelin and learns they earned two stars. He is able to share the news and celebrate with Syd.
Some weeks later, Luca returns to Copenhagen, Ebraheim begins work on franchising, Tina takes over as the CDC, and Carmy goes to interview for an internship at an architectural firm, where he is able to convey all that The Bear meant to him.
All of The Bear staff and extended family (including Carmy and Claire) gather for a birthday party for Richie’s daughter.
Jess holds Richie’s hand as they take off together for Japan.
