On Silo S3E10, “Troy”

Written by Fred Golan and directed by Amber Templemore

At some point in the future, after the bomb in Atlanta, Daniel—who is now called Troy—wakes up from cryo-sleep around the time the rebellion in Silo 17 is happening. He is woken up because of his expertise in handling these situations.

In the Silo 1 control room, Charlotte—now called Susan—is a drone pilot, but she pushes back on Troy’s orders to eliminate all the Silo 17 residents who have gone outside through poison gas and drone attacks.

Before going back under, Troy meets with Victor and tells her about a dream he continues to have about a woman who must be from his past. Victor promises he will look into it and have an answer next time Troy wakes up.

35 years later, Victor attempts to manage the turmoil in Silo 18. He witnesses Camille turn against the algorithm and help Knox and Shirley clamp the pipe that would allow the Safeguard to come in. Camille demands answers about why Silo 1 has the power to kill everyone but also claims to want to save humanity.

At Victor’s request, Troy is awoken to assist with the ongoing issues in Silo 18, and he learns about Juliette and her journey to Silo 17 and back. Juliette and her team reach the door to the Digger Void, where the algorithm tells them their Silo will not die if they do not attempt to reach out to other silos. Juliette agrees, but then privately tells her team it’s time for them to go on the offensive against those in charge.

Troy learns that Victor killed himself right after he gave the order to wake him up, and Troy finds a computer file left for him by Victor that gives the name of the woman he has been dreaming about: Helen Drew.
