On The Traitors: New Blood Episode 3, “The Traitors Are Watching” and Episode 4, “The Death Parade”

Episode 3 of The Traitors: New Blood (“The Traitors are Watching”) reveals the winner of the battle between accomplices Katie and Xavier. Both found their death warrants, but Xavier’s admission that he had already floated Katie’s name as a potential Traitor backfires and convinces Joe and Tomica that he might be too willing to turn on his the other Traitors. They murder Xavier and welcome Katie as a Traitor.

During the next mission, the group sacrifices $15,000 from the potential prize money for Clyde to get a shield and so that Michael and Ben can receive secret information revealing that two players had competed to become a Traitor. That leads Michael to go on the attack against Arissa for the hand thing she did with Victor the night before.

At the Roundtable, suspicion bounces between Victor and Arissa, but Katie’s name is also brought up for the first time because of the suspicion Xavier threw her way. Ultimately, Arissa receives 13 votes and is banished, only to reveal that she was a Faithful. As “The Death Parade” opens, the newly formed trio of Joe, Tomica, and Katie murder Logan that night, who had been discussing Xavier and Katie with other Faithful.

Episode 4’s Death Parade mission earns $12,000 but puts another group of players in danger of murder, though the bigger story is Jay. His refusal to reveal exactly who he suspected frustrates the rest of the castle and makes him plenty of enemies. As the episode ends, he directly names Katie as a Traitor at the Roundtable and plans to present all his evidence when the debate begins.
