The Old Metal Bar-Steward Episode 2 is here. That’s right, you filthy animals, the first episode was such a hit that I’m back for another round. I’d like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you, those beautiful six people, that listened to it for giving me the opportunity to carry on my insane ramblings each week. After all, it’s a lot easier to talk bollocks than it is to write it. But what does The Old Metal Bar-Steward have in store for you lucky few? What’s caught my eye and felt the lash of my venomous tongue these past 7 days? Is there anything libelous that 25YL Media and The Ruminations Radio Network should be warning their lawyers to look out for?

The show starts with me saying goodbye to a fallen brother, Entombed A.D.’s singer and leader, LG Petrov. Petrov lost his battle with cancer last week, and I reflect on how it’s a sad day for all fans of metal. This is followed by another tale from my sordid past, where I regale you with the story of how Janis Joplin helped save me from my demons during one of the darkest periods of my life. Yet, fear not dear reader, it’s not all doom and gloom as I soon take Dirty Honey, MGK, and Gene Simmons to task for being a blight on the world of rock and metal, before finishing up with Corey Taylor’s news on the forthcoming Slipknot album and trying not to laugh in the face of the person who parted with $11,000 for a Misfits single.

It’s raw, it’s honest, and, as always, I don’t pull any punches, but if you love loud music and banging your head then “Get Some Metal In Yer Life” with The Old Metal Bar-Steward podcast.
