On Sugar S1E5, “Boy in a Corner”
After the details of Davy’s horrific criminal activity leak, Davy is worried about whether his Man in a Corner film will ever be released. His mother tries to soothe him with wine and promises of his great inheritance.
Sugar is insistent on talking to Davy, and eventually Davy agrees, finally admitting that Stallings would get Davy girls. Davy asked Stallings to take care of Olivia after she found out, and it seems he has, although we still don’t know exactly what he did to her.
Davy attempts suicide after seeing no way out for what he has done. Whether he is dead or not will have to wait for next episode.
Sugar notices some interesting and potentially incriminating things about Jonathan Siegel while he visits him at his home. He then visits Melanie and is able to fight off one of Stallings’ men who had broken into her home.
The two spend the night in his hotel where Sugar admits, “I have a secret.”
Ruby has a secret too, as she meets with Miller and they discuss how they must do whatever possible to keep Sugar from learning about Stallings, setting up several mysteries to be solved in the season’s final three episodes.
