On True Detective: Night Country Part 2
Liz Danvers and her team move the frozen victims of the Tsalal station to the local ice skating rink so they can continue to search for evidence and wait for them to thaw.
Captain Connelly has come to town—who Danvers has a very long, personal relationship with—and threatens to move the whole case to Anchorage so the state can take over.
Following up on separate leads, both Danvers and rival Evangeline Navarro discover a connection between one of the Tsalal men (Clark) and the cold case Navarro’s has been working to solve. As the bodies thaw, they discover Clark is not among the dead researchers.
Meanwhile, tensions are boiling over in the town between the Native population and the mine workers over the issue of contaminated water that is making people in Ennis sick.
